About Top MBA Entrance Exams- MBA Admission in India

Among all the top searches in internet search boxes MBA admission is one of the important. It is not only based on the searches but carry a long process up to the finish. The process starts with the decision while you have to complete any MBA program or any PGDM from any top MBA college in Ghaziabad? Both are the version of management post graduation but somehow they are different. MBA was the oldest management post graduation which deals with the definition and importance of management in modern organization. As said, this is the basic version of management post graduation while the PGDM is the advanced one. The PGDM will prepare you for some senior level job profiles in the industry. These graduates are generally offered higher pay scale than the MBA graduates. Male aspirants prefer this modern version while the females are concentrating towards MBA program. But it is not a necessary rule for all the aspirants. So what basically we are trying to say is that, choose your career option very wisely. You have to choose among two options. After selecting the track you need to choose the specialization and for that you have to know which one fulfilling your requirement most.

For MBA Admissionin India you need to go through some national level entrance examination. Some colleges and universities conduct their own entrance examinations but most of the colleges prefer national level entrance examinations. Some other prefers two or three enrollment examinations while some prefer their own with the common entrance exams. CAT is the highest level qualifying exam for the enrollment in B schools. It is conducted by 7 old IIMs in rotation process. It allows top 100 management colleges along with the IIMs. For IIM admission you need 90 percentile of marks in this exam but other colleges prefer 70 to 90 percentile.  MAT is another same level enrollment examination conducted by all India management association and it allows the enrollment in top 300 colleges. But it never allows IIM enrollment. As example New Delhi Institute of Management is one of the MBA Colleges in Delhi allows MAT enrollment by a half portion of total entries.

XAT is another leading examination enrolling the admissions in 300 more management colleges like GIM Goa, SPJIMR, XLRI and XIMB. Xavier Labour Research Institute is concocting this national level entrance examination. The basic qualification required to apply in these programs is a graduation degree. This is the finest thing in this chapter. You need not be a management graduate to apply but in spite of that technical, traditional, architecture, medical, dental, computer application and IT graduations are also preferable for this. 50% marks is necessary and this is for all the examinations. But if you are not holding any 50% graduation only for the leakage of 1 or 2% marks don’t get frustrated. You can go for management seats in private schools. These seats are genuine seat but the founders sell them with same fee structure with an addition of donation in that. Remember after starting the session everybody will forget about this donation very easily.
