MCA Admission 2013 in India


In recent three to four years, MCA has become the most sought-after course among professional degrees. Each year several students are getting enrolled themselves to MCA courses in India. This is the prerequisite qualification to enter the software world and now MCA students along with engineering graduates are ruling the software industry. A boost in IT sector has increased the demand for skilled professionals to work in different disciplines of software arena and the need can’t be fulfilled by B.Tech/M.Tech students alone. In AP and some other Indian states, the admission is done through common entrance examination called MCACET. Students who have been cleared through this test are supposed to apply for admission to a preferred university separately. Universities excluding from this bracket conduct a centralized examination at national level to select for the cream of the students for MCA program. The analysis test is comprised of objective type questions based on following areas – 

Mathematical ability– questionnaire is based on Algebra, Statistics, Trigonometry, Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, and Computing.

Analytical & Logical Reasoning – questions are asked from Number & Letter Series, Classifications, Coding-Decoding, Interpretation of date, Analogies, Analytical Reasoning, Syllogism, and Logical Diagrams.
 
Business Mathematics - this section consists of problems on numbers, Fractions, ration & Proportion, Percentage, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Work & Distance, Measuring, and Data Sufficiency.

Students willing to join the software industry; need to work hard and prepare well to crack the entrance examination as it is the toughest barrier between success and your dream. Test is like a race against time and most of the part of it is comprised of mathematical ability. Seekers have to complete the test within stipulated time and so, need planned practice over syllabus discussed above by fixing the time limits.
