About MCA Admission Programs- Top MCA Colleges in India


MCA colleges has established them as the gateway of IT industry. Their education is based on undergraduate and post graduate programs but this article is on the post graduate program. Master in computer application is a three years program deals with the software study. To pursue your MCA from any recognized university or institute you need a graduation with 50% qualifying percentage. But for admission in any top MCA Colleges in India you have two options. Either you are a BCA graduate or not? If you are a BCA graduate you can enroll for lateral entry admission in which you are directly going to start from the second year and the duration is of 2 years.

BCA graduates already have studied the same books is generally taught in the first year duration and that is the reason they get the relaxation. But if you are from any other background you are not going to get this opportunity to complete the graduation within 2 years. This is called direct entry. For both you need to qualify any of the entrance exam held in state or national level. All India MCA Common Entrance Test held for the admission in IITs. MCA is not available in all the IITs but almost all the old campuses enroll MCA Admission 2013. NIMCET is another MCA admission test held for the admission in the NITs. More than 50% NITs are offering this program. 

Integrated common entrance test is a state wise admission test held for the admission in MBA and MCA program in entire Andhra Pradesh state. Almost all the states are conducting their own admission tests. Most of the universities are providing two stages placement; lateral entry placement and final campus placement. According to the current picture the scenario is almost above 80% in the city locations. The job opportunity of MCA is definitely more in city based locations because the sector is concentrating in or adjacent areas of big cities. If anybody unable to get a placement by the college campus he is not unlucky as the person standing in the gateway of job opportunities.
